Description

A subtitle overlay toolkit for video. Import: upload an SRT/VTT (or paste text to auto-time), and the SubtitleEditor shows the timeline with caption blocks you can drag to retime, split/merge, and edit inline. Styling: per-style font, size, color, background pill, shadow, and a highlighted word/lyric mode (each word pops as it's spoken — popular for music videos and shorts). Positioning: top/middle/bottom safe zones, with drag-to-place for each caption. Bilingual mode: two caption tracks (e.g., CN + EN) stacked and toggleable.

Preview and export: overlay the captions live on the video with a subtitle-safe-zone guide, then export either a burned-in MP4 (via render adapter) or clean SRT/VTT for platforms that support soft subtitles. Includes a readability checker (font size vs video resolution, contrast against the frame, max line length) and an auto-generated caption starter using a speech-to-text adapter when no file is provided. Accessible by default: all exports include caption data that players can toggle.
