A video download feature. URLInput: paste a link and the service resolves metadata (title, thumbnail, available qualities) via a resolver adapter (yt-dlp-based backend, or platform API). FormatPicker: select quality/resolution and container (mp4/webm, audio-only mp3/m4a, or subtitle-only). ProgressCard: live download progress with speed, ETA, pause/resume, and a completed state with the file saved locally (browser download, or saved to a configured server path).
Supports batch: paste multiple URLs → queue them all with per-item status. Includes a history panel (past downloads with re-download links) and a clipboard-watch toggle (auto-detects copied URLs). Handles platform quirks through the resolver layer — each platform adapter documents rate limits and failure modes. Legal/ToS reminder UI is surfaced so the feature is used within allowed contexts. Security: server-side fetching to avoid CORS and IP blocking, with SSRF guards and size limits.
