Description

A predictive analytics visualization toolkit combining statistical forecasting with AI-driven insights. Core chart types: (1) Forecast Line Chart — actual data (solid line) transitioning into predicted values (dashed line) with a shaded confidence interval band (configurable 80%/90%/95%) generated via linear regression, exponential smoothing, or ARIMA; (2) Scenario Comparison — overlay multiple forecast scenarios (optimistic/baseline/pessimistic) as separate line traces with toggles; (3) Fan Chart — multiple confidence interval bands radiating from the forecast origin, commonly used in economic forecasting; (4) Decomposition View — split a time series into trend, seasonal, and residual components as stacked sub-charts.

AI Insight Cards: an LLM-powered analysis layer that inspects forecast results and generates natural-language observations. Includes: forecast accuracy backtesting (train on historical data, compare predictions vs actuals, display error metrics), and an interactive what-if sliders panel for adjusting input assumptions and seeing the forecast update in real time.
