A podcast player feature set. EpisodeList: covers with colors extracted from artwork, play counts, and a subscribe/follow button; feed parsing (RSS/Atom) into a browsable library with episode metadata. PlayerBar (persistent mini-player): play/pause, seek with buffer, speed presets (0.75-3x with fine tuning), and a 30s skip/back. ChapterBar: when the episode has chapter marks, a segmented progress bar shows chapter boundaries with titles and jump-to-chapter. TranscriptView: episode transcript synced to playback, searchable and copyable.
Playback quality: gapless playback between episodes, volume boost / loudness normalization, and a sleep-timer with fade-out. Queue: a 'play next / play later' system with drag reorder and an autoplay-next feature. Subscriptions: feed refresh with 'new episode' badges, per-podcast notification toggles, and a download-for-offline mode with storage management. Cross-device resume is left to a pluggable sync adapter. All controls are keyboard accessible; the player stays in sync with the OS media session where available (media keys, lock-screen controls).
