A background-removal and subject-isolation toolkit. The AICutout component sends an image to a segmentation model (or uses a bundled web-model like MediaPipe Selfie/Segment Anything via the adapter) and returns a cutout with: a checkerboard or solid-color preview, adjustable edge feathering and 'keep/erase' mask brushes for fine correction, and export as PNG with transparency or as a cutout on a chosen solid/gradient background.
Beyond removal: BackgroundReplacement composites the cutout onto a new scene (solid color, gradient, another photo, or an AI-generated backdrop) with realistic shadow drop (adjustable blur/opacity for grounding the subject), and ObjectDetect labels regions in an image with bounding boxes (for e-commerce attribute tagging or content moderation UIs). Batch mode processes folders of images. Performance: offloads heavy inference to a backend adapter (API key optional) with a lightweight fallback edge-detect algorithm for simple high-contrast images.
