Description

A specialized heatmap and density visualization toolkit with three core views: (1) Grid/Matrix Heatmap — color-coded cells representing data intensity across two dimensions, with configurable color scales (sequential, diverging, categorical), hover tooltips showing exact values, and zoom-to-cell drill-down; (2) Geographical Heatmap — overlay data intensity onto map tiles (Leaflet/Mapbox), with region aggregation, contour lines, and hotspot detection; (3) Correlation Matrix — upper/lower-triangle matrix heatmap showing pairwise correlations between variables, with significance markers and hierarchical clustering reordering.

All views support: customizable color ramps with preset scientific palettes (viridis, magma, inferno, plasma), legend with gradient bar and value labels, responsive canvas rendering with WebGL acceleration for large datasets (>100K cells), and export to PNG/SVG/CSV. Includes a data pipeline that accepts raw arrays, 2D matrices, or GeoJSON and normalizes into the heatmap format.
