Glitch & VFX Components
When to use: Adding visual effects to video intros/outros and hero sections: glitch titles, chromatic aberration, light leaks, logo reveals, and cinematic openers.

A library of video/VFX components for intros, outros, and cinematic moments. GlitchTitle: a title that stutters, chromatic-offsets (red/blue split channels), and data-corruption blocks — with a glitch-severity control and deterministic seed for reproducible effects. LightLeakFrame: film grain, diagonal light leaks, 16:9 letterbox bars, and large serif type for cinematic chapter cards. LogoOutro: segmented logo assembly with glow-bloom and a tagline reveal. LiquidHero: a WebGL fluid-displacement background with a quote overlay (loops forever).
Each component works in two modes: (1) as a live web element (React + CSS/WebGL) for landing-page heroes, and (2) as a Remotion composition frame for rendering into actual video. Includes timing presets (the 1-3s window that reads as 'cinematic'), a transition pack (glitch-in/out, flash, whip-pan emulation), and a preview stage with export-to-video buttons. Performance: glitch effects use pure CSS where possible with WebGL only for the fluid background; all honor reduced motion with a static fallback.
