Description

An interactive drill-down analytics framework for hierarchical data exploration. Core pattern: a summary view (e.g., total revenue by region) with clickable elements that expand inline to show the next level of detail (region → country → city → store), with breadcrumb trail and back-navigation that preserves the exploration context. Each level fetches data on-demand (lazy loading) with skeleton loading states.

Features: configurable hierarchy tree definition (any depth, any field mapping), synchronized views — drilling down in one chart filters all other dashboard widgets, a drill path sidebar showing the exploration history with one-click jump-back, export current view as filtered dataset, and an expand all to level N bulk operation. Supports drill-down on bar charts, pie charts, treemaps, and geographic maps. Keyboard shortcuts for power users (→ drill in, ← drill out, ↑↓ navigate siblings).
