## Overview
Traditional academic typesetting for theses and dissertations.
Crimson Text for body copy (designed for long-form reading at
1.8 line-height), generous margins for advisor notes, and a
sober navy-and-crimson palette. No rounded corners — scholarly
seriousness throughout.
## Colors
- Background: warm white (#fefefe), softer than pure white
- Primary: deep navy (#1a365d) for chapter headings and rules
- Accent: academic crimson (#b91c1c) for hyperlinks and emphasis
- Callouts: pale blue (#ebf4ff) background for blockquotes and examples
## Typography
Crimson Text at 16px/1.8 for body — proven legibility for dense
academic prose. Chapter headings at 28px/600 weight. Margin notes
in Inter 12px italic. All code in JetBrains Mono 13px.
## Components
- Chapter Heading: numbered, navy rule below, generous top margin
- Margin Note: right-floated, italic, muted, 200px max-width
- Blockquote: blue callout background, left border accent
